Stepping Stones

The other week, I had a pretty bad scare financially and related to the comic. And while it was partly my own lack of paying attention, it sped up my decision to push to make the comic self sustaining. That is I want the comic able to support itself without needing funds from my day job. It’s not quite jump to turning the comic into a full time job, but I like to see it as a stepping stone to that dream.

Along with the new “Help Out” section above, I’m going to start posting a monthly donation gift wall paper. If you could donate at least $1 (to cover paypal fees), you can get yourself a nifty wallpaper. But if you donate $20 or more (which I would not be against) during that month, you’ll get a signed print of the image! (Sent at the end of the month/beginning of the next)

The money goes towards paying hosting costs, ads, the donation gifts (which there might be more things in the future), and if I’m lucky, maybe help pay for me to hit a convention next year. But right now, stepping stones, I just want to see if I can get the comic to support itself.
