So what’s been with the horrible update schedule this week? I felt folks should get an explanation, without getting into too much negative stuff (there’s no reason for that). There’s three main reasons.

The first is my own over ambitious scripts involving creating several new characters, even if they’re temporary, and looking up at least the most basic information I need. I do way too much research for the comic, more than actually gets used, unfortunately! That said, I find a lot of neat and interesting stuff in the process. This excess designs and research aren’t too much of a problem except for coupled with the other two reasons.

Second reason – I’m in job hunt over drive. I need employment and all I’m getting are interviews to part-time minimal wage jobs that won’t hire me because I’m apparently far better than they want. And even those interviews are few and far between. So there’s A LOT of time spent looking for jobs and submitting applications/resumes. And I quickly want to qualify this paragraph: This is not me begging for money. Unless donations start coming in at a quantity that can be considered a wage (at which point the comic will get a hell of a lot better at updating) all donations go towards keeping the site going. I have used very little of donations for myself so far. So if you donate at the moment, it’s to support the comic, not me. Just want to make that clear. There’s a much different speech to give when I need money directly.

The third reason – losing sleep because the other two reasons are full time work in and of themselves tends to play heavily on me mentally, and that always seems to happen when I want to try and do as much as possible in a limited amount of time. Mental exhaustion is fun! (Note: It’s really note. Don’t exhaust yourself mentally.)

I’ll pull through this, although updates will be rough for a bit here. I still intend to get three comics up a week, although I’m thinking setting specific dates for them is a silly endeavor. Anyway, after I get some sleep and refocus, things should smooth out. Thanks for the patience and thanks for reading!
