Snap! – February’s Donation Image!
February 1st, 2011 |Those of you Breadites that are already fans on the Facebook Page might have gotten a look at the image already. Cherubs are flying around spreading love, and Ginger’s having none of that right now. The image is very… pink. Here’s a tiny preview of the wider, wallpaper version:

Can’t really blame her. The only thing flying around in my neighborhood is a snow/ice combination that’s made it too dangerous to go outside. This weather is truly a massive case of suckfail.
Why stop with just ONE type of print? Why not offer a bigger print with white space at the bottom of it. If people donate 30 smackers, you’ll doodle whatever they want in that space for them.(25 might be more reasonable) I’d probably pay for that
Not that I’m against the idea, implementing it is just a lot more work! Aside from getting the print file right in Photoshop, the print places have been having enough trouble then I give them a 8.5″x11″ file and printing it out on 8.5″x11″ paper. So this would truly confuse them! Haha
I’ll consider some way of making at least something similar work. I’d need to figure out some doodle request guidelines (“whatever they want” is dangerous because someone might want a full comic or something I really don’t want to draw). For now, as a simple solution, I’d be willing to do a quick character sketch on the back (not as easy to frame/hang up and show off) or maybe one like a 4″x6″ or 5″x8″ card for a few extra dollars. (I say quick character sketch because if I was going to do a commission, I’d be charging more than a few additional donation dollars. I hope that doesn’t sound like I’m being unreasonable.)
Definitely something I’ll think about in more detail as I work on a few other things as well. I’ve got some plans the next few months.
