Ginger's Bread

So over the past week I’ve been doing some minor site tweaks. I guess that brings the site to something like version 3.4 or something if you need such numbers. What changed?

- New Twitter Widget that displays all Ginger’s Bread accounts.
Yep, over to the right is a little widget that will display all the Twitter’s associated with Ginger’s Bread. That includes my main twitter, the site’s twitter, Ginger’s twitter, Kelly’s twitter, Ryan’s twitter, and Joséphine’s twitter. I’m considering adding one or two more accounts to that list but I still haven’t returned to the swing of regularly updating the four character twitters that are there to begin with. So we’ll see.

- All comments have an icon now.
If you don’t have a Gravatar account, instead of a faceless person, you now get one of several random character avatars I’ve put together. They are random and I don’t know how to change them, but make some comments, see how you’ve got!

- My posts now how my Gravatar
An image I recently drew and am already considering changing. But yeah, my posts will include that me picture for now, kind of a place holder until I draw up a handful of “mood” icons that I’ll use with posts.

- Comic actually displaying at proper size again
This was an unexpected change. I fixed it originally in the CSS when I switched the comic width to 1000 pixels, but apparently after a comicpress upgrade, it was being restricted again. So now it’s a little wider and less squishy looking. Apologies to anyone using a lower res monitor, but think of it as an excuse to upgrade!

- New logo
Just to update the art a little bit and to fit more neatly with the properly resized site.

I still want to update the about page, I’ll likely do that this week. Should I throw some character bios on there too? At least a few, properly.
