i agree with D.Durand, because I write in cursive and do my “G”s perfectly
also I love my “F”s…. and “N”s, the only one i have trouble with is the “I”, I write it to look like a backwards “L”.
I can NOT write in any way other than cursive… i have to make an effort to just print… and that ends with some random letter in a word switching to my ‘normal’ writing. I’ll be trying to print, and then at some point i just stop. based off what i see, i’m in the minority though.
Cursive’s great in university. Your pencil/pen doesn’t leave the page till the word is done and you can get some Really fast notes done with a steady hand. also handy on essay exams with Red Bull in system and if you ever lend out your notes.
Still think the quality is pretty good… and yes I’ve given up even TRYING to write the cursive G. What a mess cursive handwriting is!
Oh what a curse is cursiveness!
Welp, in quite a number of Schools they’ve dropped even teaching Cursive, to the next Generation I say this, Goodluck with your Signatures.
I have to say i don’t understand : What writing is more simple than the cursive ? I mean, it’s simple and fast… What other writing you use ?
Shorthand. Typing. Audio recording.
All are simpler and faster than writing in cursive. Well, the second one is variable, but I type absurdly fast.
*PRINT.*
It’s weird cuz other than the letters in my name G is the only letter I know how to right in cursive.

When I sign things, I don’t do it completely in cursive. My initials are more like print.

I gave that up years ago.
