They do. One of my friends had to find new homes for his turtles while he was on medication that seriously weakened his immune system.
UHF lied. They make horrible suction cups.
Actually the salmonella comes from their feces but yeah, you can get it from touching a turtle.
If she did get get a pet Fox, it would just cancel all the good new things you bring in the house….
