I love lines like “I believe in you!” when they are taken totally out of context. Another is “Use teamwork!”. I love to say that to people playing fighting games that are one on one. ^.^
Is it just me, or when Carl changed the look of the characters, it seems he changed their apparent ages as well. Ginger actually looks younger now, used to look about 23 and now looks about 19-21ish. Ryan looks like he is in his early 20′s, like 19-23 ish. Later on he looks closer to 30. Kelly looked like she was 24-26 and later looks about 29-32
It’s definitely more a continually learning to draw thing than intentional redesign of characters. They’re all suppose to be mid-twenties right now (26-ish or so now, give or take [as of late Oct 2010]). Ginger looking younger than she is though (while again not intentional) is very conceivable considering character/family traits I haven’t gotten to yet. Dammit about Kelly though, apparently I got her spot on at first. (I’m sure I could make some excuse about the style I draw in having such and such effect, but I’m pretty sure it’s mostly me trying to improve as an artist and solidify a style in general.)
