#299! Wednesday-ish is comic #300! Nothing super special planned because I didn’t count right when setting up the story so we’ll just plow on through. That said, I do have a double comic script I’ve been sitting on, we’ll do that after the story is over. So it with actually be #300+ that’s special.
Hey-oh! Last week of April! That said, because I got April’s Donation Image up so late, I’ll be extending the opportunity to get it until May 9th. That’s the day I plan on putting up May’s image and sending out April’s Prints/Sketches. So two weeks. There are donation buttons abound.
Thanks for reading!

Getting banned from an Amish Country store is really hard to do. She has a superpower!
I was debating that capital C in case there was confusion. The various Amish communities have decided, as one, that she’s not allowed in them. Amish Country was meant more as large areas of land where the Amish dwell.
And even then, being banned from such a large area took some work.
haha yep she is definitely a mini Ginger. Amish Country? they live in New York right? If they do, I think I know which part of the Country she’s been banned from….
There are Amish communities mainly in Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, and Indiana. There’s also pockets of Amish in other states as well.
Pretty good size one in Northwest Missouri, centered around Jamestown. They have a cafe store near a small town called Maysville, Missouri that serves fabulous deli sandwiches. With home made cheese and everything.
It’s the only redeeming thing about that area, honestly.
I like how they asked if she has two eyes. Come to think of it, have we ever even seen the other eye?
Now if you excuse, I’ll be watching Weird Al’s “Amish Paradise”.
The second eye has yet to be seen.
If I were a major comic book company, I’d make a huge event regarding the unveiling of the other eye and then shortly thereafter retcon it.
I can’t get all the cake and cookies I want.
I always run out of unsalted butter.
Use salted butter, and slightly reduce the salt in the recipe.
Well, then I’d also end up with no salted butter… and what would I put on my baked potatoes and cook my scrambled eggs with?
…I should probably get my cholesterol checked out.
Seriously, though, I don’t usually need to get much butter… but when I want cookies, I never seem to have enough. It might help if one of the batches I’m going to make this week wasn’t going to take 1 1/2 cups of butter (assuming I don’t need more than a half-batch of frosting).
(Yes, I am aware I can make a half-batch… but that would produce half as many cookies)
‘oooo practical advice’ lmao. best line ever
See, now I wanna know how that happened! C’mon, give us a flashback to that or something!
I just had a thought… Ginger likes off beat music right? What about bands like Stryper, Underoath, Tourniquet, Mortification, or Argyle Park? If Ginger really does like off beat brands of tunes… then these bands will be about as main stream as a Politician that knows how to tell the truth.
She’s not quite the hipster in that the less known, the better it is. Ginger’s primary musical taste, as seen from shirts and mentions in past comics, tends to be more Indie Pop-Rock with some Folk leanings here and there.
