Ironically, I’ve been having the worst time trying to focus on making comics lately. It’s less about not wanting to and more about playing catch up adding to the stress factor.
But isn’t this always how it works? “I should probably work on that paper due next Friday… after I e-mail my friend I haven’t talked to in months! Aaaand eat this cake…. that I have to bake… after I buy the ingredients…” The paper will get done (if you know what you’re doing), but not until much closer to the deadline. It’s the fine art of procrastination.
Ginger isn’t promoting slacking off, just the using of distraction/procrastination as a method of stress relief and productivity. As long as everything gets done, it’s cool.

didn’t someone on the last page say something about not being able to write until you have your mind off of it?
I definitely think that ginger has the right idea about procrastinating.
I just hope it actually gets done.
(Referring to my own situation here, because yes I played Halo: Reach on Sundaybut perhaps those hours would’ve been better spent
)
Right up there wiith the theory of escape energy: work on getting any potential distractions done first then on the real target, ideal if ye thrive under pressure too.
