I suspect that you’re exaggerating the filter status with this one. I’ve met, and am quite good friends despite just about everything, with someone who really does not have any kind of censor cats. The man works nightshifts at a gas station convenience store for a reason *not saying everyone who works that job has no/poor filters but Dear Lord he has none*. I suspect that Ginger is much like the previously mentioned friend’s cousin; she has filter kitties, but they aren’t very well fed and are overworked, and so sometimes let something slip through while dreaming longingly of mice.
