First – I can’t draw cars. Inside or out. It doesn’t help that I am extremely tired lately.
Second – I admit I do this. I have no idea why. I’ll be driving along and smell what may be burning oil or something so I’ll turn off my music for a few minutes while I try to determine the smell and if it’s my car. Am I weird for doing this?

Nope, it’s the same principle of people who shut off music when they are looking for something. Shutting off input to one sense lets the others work better!
It’s the same like when you stop doing something to focus more on smelling or hearing something. You just allot more braintime.
Nothing wrong with those car innards. You can instantly tell where she is and what she’s doing.
I turn off the music when I smell something funny in the truck so I can tell if something might be shaking apart, or whatever.
Officially the most comments to a single comic. Very awesome.
Also awesome – I’m not all that crazy… at least in regards to music and scent.
Nah, it makes sense, although not quite directly. You turned the music off so you could focus more on identifying the smell, essentially devoting more brain power to it…although I admit, I’ve never done that before.
Nope, not crazy. I find myself doing this every time, pause and wonder /why/ I’m doing it, and then have to explain it to myself. It’s a bit silly.
And with the car parts, I could tell. Although my first though was that it was somehow a continuation of the previous comic, then realized she wasn’t alone.
Well, i don’t think you should worry about not being able to
draw cars for *this* comic, since the reader’s focus is on the character, not
the car. Still, i don’t think you did too bad a job with it.
