Yeah, Panel 3 is a poorly drawn Wil Wheaton. The idea of a Wil Wheaton musical biography entered my head one day and I decided this would be truly entertaining for all involved.
Saw your ad on El Goonish Shive. Sat and read the whole thing. Now I have yet another webcomic to follow. Curse you Ginger and your one blue eye of sexy!
Oh, and Ginger “giving herself a lift” on page 2 had nothing to do with it. Really. Da-yum.
Would “Don’t Be a Dick” sound anything like MC Frontalot’s “Your Friend Wil”? I mean, that song already features Wheaton on the chorus and covers ‘Wheaton’s Law’ (don’t be a dick) pretty awesomely!
Mike and Jerry from Penny Arcade and Scott Kurtz from PvP got the opportunity to play a one-shot campaign with a professional DM from Wizards of the Coast, which was released in podcast form on the D&D website. It was sufficiently popular that WotC approached them about doing another one, to which Wil Wheaton promptly invited himself.
All four podcast series are funny, but 2 and 3 are the best of the bunch, thanks in no small part to the presence of Mr. Wheaton.
awesomesauce!
I’d watch that.
I would go see that.
Probably like three times. Now I really want to hear those songs…
Ginger’s lucky, when I hear songs in my dreams, I wake up and they are beyond memory’s grasp
These songs were just THAT GOOD.
Okay, I’m caught up from the archive! Great comic, Carl!
Thanks!
Holy shit, I’d kill to watch that!

For the Wheaton fans, there are a few hours of him in the Penny Arcade Dungeons & Dragons Podcast, series 2 and 3. http://www.wizards.com/dnd/podcasts.aspx
