Do ALL the work they hand you, keeping them experience starved over a good period of time and then take a two week vacation. The problem usually self-heals (, especially I would imagine in the health care industry. The liability incurred if the person’s truly incompetent brings home the point.)

In my case it was major database corruption three days before vacation was up, was kind of a bitch when they finally admitted to it four days after I got back and I had to spend the next three days repairing. It was a self inflicted wound that knocked the perpetrator back to half-height as they could talk convincing blarney but were unable to deliver and were trying to cover their incompetence (which fiction I allowed to slowly self-reveal for maximal embarrassment and full acknowledgement by management).

I have dealt with people like jojo and I found the best way to deal with them is to not let it mess with you and when that doesn’t work a well place punch work just as well
