I have a feeling that all job places do this even if they are hiring people

Place where I have applied to told me that it was “mandatory” that they have their “now hiring” poster up even when they were overstaffed.
In NorCal, Goodwill hires every 3rd Wednesday of the month starting at 9AM. Thing is you have to have been unemployed for at least 6 months. Check to see if there is one near you that does similar.
I cannot help but think that’s what they do.
Over the course of 2 and a half years I turned in 14 resumes to Dairy Queen when they were hiring only to have the job filled by some high school drop out who was fired shortly after being hired.

This is exactly how I feel right now. Just started college and it’s not going too well and I NEED a job, but it seems all the places “hiring” don’t actually want workers.
I’ve been there and lived some of Ginger’s life. Love the comic. I found Ginger today and hope to be in her life for a long time.

Been there done that. I think the trick is to bug the managers into hiring you. Great comic for sure.
