I debated on when and how I wanted to do this strip. On the one hand, I know there are people all kinds of weirdness when religion of any kind is mentioned. On the other, I find the subject of religions fascinating and their believes are part of the characters’ backgrounds. And hey, Ginger and Kelly don’t mind ribbing each other about this stuff.

I think it just gives the characters a nice background–if anyone gets offended.. come on, it’s a comic!!

Wow, I did a Professional Thesis on What Religion and Science Actually Are. They’re just methods of thinking with your BRAIN! Religion is the part that accepts, and Science is the Part that denies, when you have one and not the other your Basically Crazy, either A Looney who Believes they don’t even Exist and Nothing Does (Full-Blown Science) or the Religious Ones we Usually see. All I have to say is, You introduced their relationship on this Issue in the least Offensive Way, and I lovez it.
This I know.
I don’t have a problem with religion being talked about/joked about in some form of entertainment, so long as it doesn’t try to imply that whatever belief they subscribe to (often atheism, since that’s not an acceptable target, apparently) is superior or right or some other thing.
I honestly figured Ginger for a Discordian, though.
