I know at least two or three people who could do their taxes in Chinese. They could probably do my taxes in Chinese to mock me.
I really wanted more of a joke but couldn’t reach it while trying to show at the same time that Ginger isn’t an idiot like she may occasionally act, she just doesn’t have a good idea of how to properly set-up and run a business and that’s what she’s planning on getting better at with Ryan’s help. He was just so taken aback by the poor business plan (that you’ll recall she had less than useful help writing) that he didn’t expect her to know how to do any of this stuff. Also, like the alt text says, she’s pretty upset when you take her games away and she’s playing them.
Blergh, I hate poorly scheduled work weeks. I should better plan for upcoming weeks by, you know, getting that buffer back.

And a break from Pokémon comics (surely a delight for many) as we head back to plot related activities for a couple weeks.
Those following know that she’s chilling in Kanto now in HeartGold. Those not following don’t know that you can play with her too and give Kelly a break. Next comic, we’ll mention Pokémon, but really, we’ll start getting back to other topics and plot. (And the crowd goes wild.)
I love how comic 150 hit for a Pokémon comic with the release of a Pokémon game. That’s some zen shit right there or something. Also, what the hell is up with the character design? They should have just given Kris an updated design.
Also, quick head them off at the past comment: No, Ginger’s design isn’t based off Cynthia’s. It’s just a coincidence.
I’ve been wanting to do more with Kilgore Trout. Look at him, ready to go for his girls. He’s a champ, that one.

On another note, I honestly had to look up who Taylor Swift was. I wrote the joke based off a piece of random merchandise I saw with her name on it. Clearly, I’m not using my researching skills properly.
I love Cosmos. It keeps my love of science strong. I also love that it is on Hulu. Also awesome: Symphony of Science, which use clips from Cosmos and other science talks to make great music.
Yeah, Panel 3 is a poorly drawn Wil Wheaton. The idea of a Wil Wheaton musical biography entered my head one day and I decided this would be truly entertaining for all involved.
